Psychic Sinks?

 Hello Yellow Springs.  Lucy is in town gathering information for a book she is writing about Yellow Springs.  Wheeling Gaunt is featured in it, so she came to visit his house, which we live in.  While she was here she said that some people believe that a psychic sink is in Yellow Springs.  now that made sense to me because so many spiritual/psychic people have been drawn here. Read the paper any week and the offerings to do/hear interesting spiritual growth sessions abound.  Just to give you an example for this week, which is a slow week-First sunday Meditation at the Art Space,  plus meditation is offered by the Dharma Ctr. 4 times during the week and book discussions 2 times, Tai Chi class, Yoga, Shabbat services, Baha'i Center film screening, National day of prayer, May 7th at 4 local churches, Reiki practitioner's circle, Cafe Philo, Friends meeting, Unitarian spiritual discussion, Course in Miracles, there is meditation at Friends Meeting space  3 times a week, Sunrise meditation Tuesday mornings.  If you look at the bulletin boards around town, talks, readings and retreats for all sorts of spiritual things can be found.

 So what is a Psychic Sink?  I looked it up on the internet and couldn't find it. I was thinking something positive like something in the earth here that draws spiritual/non material (I don't even know how to describe it, I don't want to limit it to "new age") seeking people here.  Is it negative?  There is that word sink, to go down.  Is it nonsense?  what do you think?  Have you heard that term used for Yellow Springs before?
